Jessie Marie Graffeo

Mar 14, 1933 — Nov 28, 2025

On November 28, 2025, Jessie Marie (Darsam) Graffeo joined her loving family and friends up in Heaven to be with our Lord. Jessie was the daughter of the late Frank and Marie Darsam. She was a New Orleans native who was born on March 14, 1933 in the city she loved. She was a graduate of Frances T. Nicholls High School in 1950.

Jessie loved her family and was a dedicated caregiver to many family members who preceded her in death. She is the mother of Debbie (Greg) and grandmother to her beloved granddaughter Danielle, who affectionately called her MomMom. She and Danielle enjoyed many hours together in the past 20 years after she lost her house and decided to leave the city she loved after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and loved to laugh. She was always there to help when anyone needed her. She had a very strong faith, which helped to get her through even the most difficult of circumstances.

She worked at Hydril Company for many years. Prior to that time, she worked at the District Attorney’s office in New Orleans, LA.

Her loving spirit and laughter will be truly missed. You will forever be with us in our hearts. May you rest in the peace and love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We love and miss you.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of Colorado or the St. Elizabeth’s Food Pantry at Pax Christi Catholic Church.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on December 18, 2025 at Pax Christi Catholic Church in Lone Tree, CO at 11AM.
