Linda Carol Vette

Linda Vette (Manning), age 78, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on September 1, 2026.

Linda was born September 26, 1947, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Edsel and Betty Manning.

Linda was a strong-willed, spirited woman who loved her family deeply. Throughout her life, she enjoyed country music and dancing, bowling, auto racing, animals, and spending time with the people she loved. She formed many lasting friendships over the years and was affectionately known to many as “Momma Linda.”

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Edsel and Betty Manning, and her former husband and father of her daughters, Ron Vette.

She is survived by her four daughters, Kimberly Partridge, Kelly Vichos, Krystal Vette-Miller, and Kassie Vette-Meadows; her brother, Larry Manning; Eleven Grandchildren, Aspen Miller, Kelcie Forbes, Khai Forbes, Danielle Vette, Kevin Riggs, DJ Vennemen, Sharee Chrislip, Zachary Meadows, Alexis Meadows, Tyler Rigney, and John Abeyta; and Four Great-Grandchildren.

Linda will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, love for her family, and the many friendships she made throughout her life.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of life on October 17th.
