Mary Beth Meadows

Apr 24, 1959 — Aug 7, 2026

Mary Beth Meadows (Miller) was born April 24, 1959, and passed away on August 7, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mary was the daughter of Joseph John Miller and Geraldine Bernice Miller. She is survived by her siblings, Donna Dee, Gerry Elzbiocok, Ken Miller, and Carolyn Chambers.

Mary married her high school sweetheart, Robert Lee Meadows Jr. (Biff), on November 22, 1986. Together, they shared nearly 40 years of marriage and built on life focused on family.

Mary’s faith was deeply important to her. She read the Bible throughout her life, continually seeking to know God more deeply. The book of Job held a particularly significant place in her heart. As she lived with constant pain, she wrestled honestly with the difficult questions of suffering and why God allows hard things to happen. Yet, especially during her final year, Mary drew near to the Lord in new ways. Through her questions, struggles, and searching, her faith grew deeper, and she came to know the Lord more intimately.

Mary was generous, funny, strong-willed, and fiercely devoted to her family. She was determined and believed that if she put her mind to something, she could do it. She loved her family deeply and would do anything for them. She found tremendous joy in nature and especially in her Colorado mountains. She loved to ski, hike and every mountain vista brought her happiness. She would claim that she felt close to the Lord when in his mountains. She loved sunrises, sunsets and would delight in finding familiar shapes in the clouds. She also had a special love for Christmas and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, simple pleasures that brought her great joy.

To her nine grandchildren, she was lovingly known as Grandmama. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert “Biff” Meadows Jr.; her three children, Jessica Viss and her husband Darren, Carol Meadows and her husband Andrew Quintana, and Sean Meadows; her nine grandchildren, Cadin O’Connor, Gideon Viss and his wife Kaelynn, Cameron Viss, Landon Viss, Maribelle Quintana, Eva Quintana, Malcolm Quintanna, Quenten Viss, and Evelyn Viss; and her great-grandchild, Emerson Viss.

Mary Beth’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so fiercely, the faith she continued to pursue, and the countless memories she leaves behind with those who loved her.
