Michelle Marie Shumaker

Michelle “Mickey” Shumaker, 82, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on August 29, 2026, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was born on February 16, 1944, to James Finn and Mary Hobbs Finn in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mickey went to high school at St. Mary’s and graduated in 1962.

Mickey enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading and jigsaw puzzles.

One of the things we will remember most about mom was her smile. When she smiled, her whole face lit up. That smile reflected the warmth, joy, and love she carried within her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim; father, James; mother, Mary; sisters, Diana, Pat and Cornelia; brothers, Pete and Tom.

Mickey is survived by her sons, Greg and Mike; brother Frank; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Pikes Peak Hospice.

There is a service at Memorial Gardens Chapel at 10:00AM, Saturday, September 26, 2026.
