Phyllis Jean Bebb nee Post of Falcon Colorado passed away peacefully Friday, May 1, 2026 at a care facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with her children by her side. Her presence will be deeply missed.

Phyllis was born on January 19, 1940 in Logan Kansas to Carl Kermit Post and Irma Rosalee Post nee. Horn. She grew up in Logan with her older brother Carl Leroy Post and younger sister Carolyn Jeannette Baxter nee Post both of whom preceded her in death. Phyllis married Carl Leroy Bebb on May 7th 1961 in Logan Kansas. Carl and Phyllis lived in Phillipsburg Kansas and were blessed with four children: Chris Lee Bebb, Kimberly Jeanette Bebb, Tina Allen (Marty) all still living and Julie Jean Bebb who preceded her in death.

The family lived in Phillipsburg Kansas until 1973 when they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Later the family moved to Falcon, Colorado where Phyllis lived until her passing..

Phyllis was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Phyllis took joy in painting and loved horses. As the matriarch of the family, Phyllis will be remembered for her unwavering love, strength and the joy she found in fishing and camping. Her presence brought comfort and warmth to those around her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Carl, her parents Carl and Irma, brother Carl, sister Carolyn, daughter in law Bonnie and daughter Julie.

Phyllis is survived by her three kids: Chris Lee Bebb, Kimberly Jeanette Bebb, and Tina Allen (Marty). Her grandchildren Christopher (CJ) J. Bebb, Tabitha Schleiker (Michael), Tanya Bebb, Carl Joseph (Joey) Bebb (Karisa), Samantha Murphy (Joshua) and Michael Bebb. She is also survived by her fourteen great grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life during the summer of 2026 in Falcon Colorado to honor her memory. Tentative date of July 11, 2026. Further information to come.
