Roger Wayne Allen

Roger was born August 27, 1939 in Dodge City, Kansas and passed away May 7, 2026.

He was born the oldest of two sons born to Margaret and R.O. Allen. He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Donald.

Roger held many jobs and went to college for a short time before joining the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and serving in the reserves. After the service he drove 18 wheelers most of his life and eventually owned his own truck. He often bragged about driving 6 million miles without a chargeable accident. After retirement he married Judith Swensen in 2006 and they bought a retirement home in Lake Havasu City Arizona where they enjoyed their pool, jet skis, boat and socializing before moving back to Colorado in 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife Judy and two step daughters, Shelly (Tony) De George and JoAnne Maurer, along with four grandsons and two great grandsons and two great granddaughters.

He was a good and kind man who fought his cancer bravely for over 10 years.
