Ronald Harding
September 3, 1950 — May 5, 2026

He graduated from Prescott High School in 1968 and earned an engineering degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering in 1970. Ron worked in the construction and information technology professions within the Prescott and Red Wing areas while proudly serving in the U.S. Army Reserve in Ellsworth, Wisconsin for several years. He later relocated to Coppell, Texas, before ultimately fulfilling his lifelong dream of living near the mountains in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ron was a quiet and thoughtful man who enjoyed travel, sports, and cheering for his favorite hometown team, the Green Bay Packers.
Ron is survived by his son, Grant Harding of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his daughter, Elizabeth Harding of Ocala, Florida; and the mother of his children, Lynda Stark of Ocala, Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Bonnie) Harding of Rochester, Minnesota; and his nephews, Jeff (Kari) Harding of Canby, Minnesota, and Michael (Stacy) Harding of Byron, Minnesota. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorothy Harding. A private service is planned for a later date.
