Shea Curtis Wilfong

Shea Curtis Wilfong, 38, of Colorado Springs, Colorado

Passed away on May 6, 2026, in his home.

He was born on February 3, 1988, to Dean and Eileen Wilfong, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Shea went to high school his freshman to junior year at Wasson High School and graduated from Liberty High School in 2006.

He attended UCCS where he ran Cross Country on a scholarship. He also competed in triathlons throughout the State of Colorado, finishing at the top of his class and qualifying him for Nationals in Oregon. He won the National Championship and qualified for Worlds in Hamburg, Germany, taking the bronze medal for Team USA.

He then moved to Fort Collins and Windsor Colorado until 2023 when he returned to Colorado Springs to be with family.

Shea worked at Cole Brands for three years before starting his own business, WildRose Solutions.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, C. Jerry Mahony and Carl Wilfong; his grandmothers, Doris C. Mahony and EulaMae Wilfong; and his uncles, Kevin Mahony and Eric Wilfong.

Shea is survived by his parents, Dean C. And Eileen M. Wilfong; his sisters and family Hannah K Wilfong, Chory C. Gallagher, Kashis B.D. Gallagher, Elexis Gallagher; his uncles, Timothy Mahony and Skip Heinecke; his aunts, Kathleen E. Heinecke and Sue Wilson, and his wife Jackie Rose, Chet, Maybelle and Moony, Tim Rose, Pam Gay, Katy, Justin and Hunter Borcherding.
