Stephanie Blue Mcgehee

Stephanie Blue McGehee was healed in the presence of her Savior, passing quietly on October 11, 2025; she was 58 years old. Stephanie was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Stephanie attended Greater Jacksonville Christian School where she met Dale McGehee who would become her husband and lifelong partner; they were married for 39 years. As a young couple, they lived in multiple places up and down the east and west coasts while Dale served in the Navy. Their daughter, Chelsey Elizabeth, was born in 1988 while stationed in Saratoga Springs, NY, and their son, David Collier, was born in Jacksonville, FL in 1991. Their travels led them to Colorado Springs, CO, where they retired and lived for the past 14 years.

Stephanie’s happiest moments were all about her family and serving through her gift of hospitality. She loved Homeschooling her children, reading to and playing with her grandchildren and preparing for company including an annual Christmas Caroling. Daughter Chelsey/Isaac (Canaan, Laurel Emi, Ivy Blue, Magnolia and Roman) and Son Collier/Caryn (Alana [who made Stephanie a GiGi], Rosalyn and Kalea). She was a mother and GiGi and was blessed to be able to spend time with everyone.

We are thankful for the 58 years she spent on this earth. She will forever be loved and remembered in our hearts and our memories. We rejoice that she now rests in the arms of our awesome God.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Dale, her father and mother, Donald and Cassandra Moody of Clyde, NC, and her brother, Lee Ratliff of Jacksonville, FL.

The family would like to thank Pikes Peak Hospice for the love and care they provided Stephanie for almost two years. Also, a very special thank you to everyone else who helped in her physical care and the mighty prayer warriors of the Falcon LifeGroup.

The family will hold a drop-in wake on November 1, 2025 at Dale and Stephanie’s home in Falcon, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to LifeNetwork (https://www.elifenetwork.com/) or Relational Wisdom 360 (RW360; https://rw360.org/).
