Dena Bridschge

Dena Bridschge a true beacon of light, sunshine amongst the darkest clouds passed away after battling a storm she could no longer fight on August 29th, 2026.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, to Frank Apple and Norma Simms, Dena took pride in being a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother “Gigi”, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dena stood to serve others with true love and compassion. Her unfailing courage and determination to do the right thing and lead a selfless life is a testament to her faith and a reminder to us all to be the change you wish to see in the world.

She is survived by her two cherished children, Joshua Correll (Maddie Sandoval) and Jordan Bridschge (Jordan Caldwell), and admired by her beautiful grandchildren, Skyler Correll, Alyssa Correll, Trista Correll, Isabelle Sandoval and her great granddaughter, Eliannah Correll; as well her brothers Bret Apple, Bart Apple and her sisters Lori Apple and Patrica Hendershot.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Apple and Norma Simms; and husband, Kory Bridschge.

She will forever be remembered as a fearless servant of God who braced the world with kindness, radiated joy, happiness, and love into others. To be the brightness within.

The family is deeply grateful for the overwhelming love, kindness, and support shown by everyone during this time.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date and will be shared by her children once finalized. Family and friends are invited to contact her children for updates.
