William L. Webb, Jr.

William L. Webb, Jr. (Bill,) son of the late William L. Webb, Sr. and Shelby Jean Woodard Webb, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2026, after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Doris Goff Webb; son, William L. Webb, III; sister, Bonnie Webb Wallace; brother, Lloyd (Rebecca) Webb; granddaughter, Destiny Webb Williams; grandsons, William L. Webb, IV, Waylon Theodore Webb; and 2 great grandchildren. A beloved aunt, Barbara Cocke of Indiana; a beloved uncle, Tim Webb of Indiana; cousin, Shannon Webb Carter of Indiana; a host of nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Annie M. Goff of Batesburg; and his partner in crime and cuddle buddy, his beloved Dixie.

Bill worked as a welder for Ownes Steel for 8 years before going to work for Schneider Electric, also known as Square 'D' for the past 33 years before his retirement in May of 2020. Bill enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a huge love of fishing, hunting, Nascar and boxing. He loved to grill and spend time being a jokester and storyteller- anything that would make you laugh or smile.

Bill had a heart of Gold, and would have given you his last dime, or his last loaf of bread if he felt you were in need. He found the lord early in life and through bad choices, he drifted away for a good many years. God was gracious, Kind, loving, and Merciful and never left his side. Before leaving this world, he rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and accepted him as his savior. He was loved by many friends, acquaintances, and especially family, and he will be missed Greatly.
