Alton D. Corbett of West Columbia, South Carolina, a loving husband, father, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away surrounded by his family, on Friday, October 2nd, 2026. He was 93.
Born June 26, 1933, in Neeses, S.C., Alton was the seventh of eight children of Daisy Viola Dukes and Walter Lee Corbett Sr. He was first in his class at Springfield High School, graduating in 1951. Together they raised a family supported by his work as a technical engineer in office machines and computers and later as a dealer trade driver.
