Anne Reynolds Norris

Anne Reynolds Norris passed away peacefully August 5, surrounded by family and prayer. A lifelong resident of West Columbia, Anne was the oldest child of the late Harold and Roberta Reynolds. She was married to J.W. Norris for 44 years until his passing in 2011. She was a graduate of Airport High School and had a long career with South Carolina National, Wachovia, and Wells Fargo Banks in computer operations and business operations management.

Anne was an active member of Congaree Baptist Church. She was a former Sunday School teacher, and in recent years especially enjoyed working with homebound church member outreach.

In addition to her husband and parents, Anne was predeceased by siblings Betty Anderson and John Reynolds. Surviving Anne are her daughters Jennifer Barrier (Jack) and Lisa Roland (Chris); grandchildren Amberlyn Roland and Colton Barrier, who knew her as Nana; a brother Everett Reynolds (Lynne); and a nephew Sean Anderson (Janet).

Per Anne’s wishes, there will not be a service. Memorials can be made to the Operation Christmas Child fund at Congaree Baptist Church, 101 Pine Ridge Drive, West Columbia SC 29172.
