Carol Ann Evans

Carol Ann Evans, née Callahan, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2026, in Lexington, South Carolina, at the age of 81.

Born on February 21, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Carol lived a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys of home. She was known for her warm heart, her love of porch sitting, and her deep appreciation for farm life and the people she loved most.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Curtis Evans; her parents, Marie Bradford and Harry Callahan; and her brothers, Frank Callahan and Tom Callahan.

She is survived by her siblings, Jim Callahan, David (Rose) Callahan, Janet (Mike) Moller, and Herbert Jr. (Martha) Callahan.

Carol also leaves behind her loving children, Tina Marie Huppertz, William "John" Huppertz (Lisa), and Joseph Herbert Huppertz (Chessa). She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose love and guidance will be cherished by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol's legacy is one of devotion to family, kindness, and an appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be announced and held at a later date.
