John F. Paparella, Jr.
May 18, 1951 — Aug 31, 2026
John F. Paparella Jr., beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 75. Although the end of his life brought suffering, that suffering is over now and the family he left behind finds comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace.
John lived a full life and was truly a jack of all trades. In his younger years, he was a prodigy bowler and later enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He spent 50 years working as a pharmacist, dedicating much of his life to a profession that became an important part of who he was.
When he wasn't working, John loved to build and fix things. He loved his dogs, took great pride in his 1982 Corvette, and had a personality that was impossible to forget. He could curse like no other, but was the kindest soul you would ever meet.
John was a father to his three children, Christina Marie, John Matthew, and Maria Nicole. Through the good times, the arguments, the laughter, and all of the ordinary moments in between, he was their dad, and his absence will be felt for the rest of their lives.
John is also survived by his sisters, Janet and Alice, and his brother-in-law, Jimmy, along with the friends and loved ones whose lives he touched throughout his 75 years.
John was one of a kind. He was stubborn, funny, talented, hardworking, outspoken, and deeply loved. There will never be another person quite like him.
We will miss his stories, his opinions, his cursing, the things he built, the arguments he inevitably started, and all the little things that made John exactly who he was.
Most of all, we will simply miss him.
Rest peacefully, Dad. You were deeply loved, and you will never be forgotten.
