Kathryn Olivia McLendon

Kathryn M. McLendon, 66, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Kathryn was many things to many people- a loving mother, sister, cousin, wife, nurse, family helper, and so much more. She attended Spring Valley High School and continued her education at Midlands Technical College, where she pursued the career she truly loved. Kathryn worked as an LPN and dedicated herself to caring for others, bringing compassion and heart to every life she touched.

She was caring, full of energy, and never afraid to speak her mind. When Kathryn spoke, her voice was heard. She had a strong presence, a generous spirit, and a deep love for her family. Family meant everything to her, and she was always willing to help those she loved.

Kathryn leaves behind one surviving daughter, two surviving brothers, and four beloved granddaughters, along with many family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten.
