Kevin B. Wright

Kevin Brent Wright, 58, passed away on August 24, 2026, following complications from cancer.

Kevin was the beloved son of Albert William Wright and the late Sadie Miller Wright. Throughout his life, Kevin was surrounded by the love of family, and he leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his beloved son, Zachary Wright; his father, Albert William Wright; his sister, Ann Wright; his brothers, David Wright and his wife, Samantha, and Scott Wright and his wife, Lisa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sadie Miller Wright, whose memory remained an important part of his life.

Kevin will be remembered with love by his family and friends. His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express, but those who loved him will find comfort in the memories they shared, the laughter they enjoyed, and the special moments that made Kevin a treasured part of their lives.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held Monday, August 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Leesburg Road. Burial will follow the service. A brief time of visitation and fellowship with the family will be held at the graveside following the burial.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin’s cousins, Ray Wright, Joe Fort, Randy Wright, Dan Cannon, Eddie Coker, and Robert Wright.

Thompson Funeral Home is assisting the Wright family with the arrangements.

Kevin’s life will be remembered not simply by the years he lived, but by the people he loved and the memories he leaves behind. May his family and friends find peace and comfort in knowing that the love they shared with Kevin will remain with them always.
