Michael Kuta of Columbia, SC, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on June 20, 2026 at the age of 66.
Born in Columbia, SC, Michael was the beloved son of the late Chester John Kuta and Elizabeth McDaniel Kuta.
He is survived by his sisters, Katherine Kuta Stankovics (Joe) of Columbia, SC, Carolyn Kuta McKittrick (Jack) of Camden, SC, and Sharon Kuta Lewis (Jeff) of Columbia, SC, and 12 nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Kuta Taylor, and his brother, John Anthony Kuta.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery for family members.
Though he will be deeply missed, Michael’s life had a profound effect on the lives of many.
