In Loving Memory
Roberta “Bobbie” Jean Keisler, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the age of 92. She was surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home in Lexington, South Carolina.
Bobbie was born on October 6, 1933 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Bobbie was predeceased by her mother, Willie Mae Carr Simpson and father, Robert Warren Simpson. She grew up in West Columbia, South Carolina, where she loved to ride her bike and play basketball. Bobbie graduated from Brookland Cayce High School with honors in 1952 and received her CPCU designation in 1984. Bobbie loved research and working with detail. She used her many talents throughout her work life while working at Motors Ins. Corp., SC Farm Bureau and ending her career as a systems analyst at Policy Management Systems.
Throughout her life, Bobbie was a source of love, strength and guidance to her family and friends. She was loyal and a great listener and confidante. She loved all things arts and crafts, and she loved to paint, stencil, scrapbook, and decorate doll houses. One of her favorite activities was to go to the antique and thrift shops searching for her next treasure, and she had a booth at an antique mall at one time. Bobbie had a very kind heart and loved animals. She was a faithful supporter of local animal charities.
Bobbie is survived by her son, Floyd W. “Buddy” Keisler, Jr., daughter, Angie K. Weaver (David), granddaughters, Amy W. Brognano (Chad), Krista L. Contreras (Colton), grandson, Brent A. Weaver, and great grandson, Braxton C. Contreras.
Bobbie enjoyed her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
