Shayo Erinfolami
Nov 19, 1989 — Nov 1, 2026
On November 1, 2026, Shayo Ebony Erinfolami entered eternal rest at the age of 36. Born on November 19, 1989, she was the beloved daughter of Karen Erinfolami and the late Dennis Lee, Sr. Raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Shayo cherished her family, cultivated lasting friendships, and touched the lives of all who knew her.
She was educated in Lexington/Richland County School District Five and graduated from Dutch Fork High School in 2009, where she formed lifelong friendships and earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and peers. During her school years, she was an active member of the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, reflecting her dedication to both academic achievement and faith.
Following graduation, Shayo continued her education at Midlands Technical College, where she pursued studies in nursing. She possessed a gentle spirit and compassionate heart that naturally drew her toward caring for and helping others.
Above all else, Shayo treasured her role as a mother. Her two sons were the center of her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their love, care, and well-being. She found joy in life's simple blessings: sharing meals with family, laughing with loved ones, creating cherished memories, and spending precious time with her children.
Shayo will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jermiah Erinfolami and Jamaine Richardson; her devoted parents, John and Karen Erinfolami; her sister, Sade Erinfolami of Hartford, Connecticut; her brother, Shola Erinfolami of Elgin, South Carolina; and her uncles, Leroy Amaker, Jr. of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Troy Amaker of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Dana Amaker of Columbia, South Carolina. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members, cherished friends, and loved ones who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Shayo was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Lee, Sr.
