Wanda Roberts Smart

Wanda Roberts Smart passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service to her family and community.

Born on December 2, 1951, in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, Wanda was the daughter of the late Virgle L. Roberts and Evelyn Phillips Roberts.

Wanda enjoyed a successful career as a Corporate Food Service Manager, where she was known for her strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence. Throughout her life, she cherished time spent with family and friends and found great joy in the lives of those she loved.

She is survived by her son, Jason Higgenbottom and his wife, Christine; her stepdaughters, Cindy Chambers and her husband, Paul, and Nancy Dowey and her husband, Jeffrey; her sisters, Donna Roberts and Lynn Rabel and her husband, Mark; and her beloved grandchildren, Kayley, Alyson, and Trey.

Wanda's memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial remembrance will be held at a later date. Friends and family will be notified of arrangements as they become available.
