Catherine M. Rose

Catherine M. Rose (née Myers), was born on November 5, 1944, to Elizabeth (née Stalter) Myers and Harold Albert Myers.

She was married to Charles Rose on February 23, 1963, with whom she shared a life and raised two sons, Charles Rose Jr.  and Matthew Rose.

She was a graduate of Haverstraw High School and went on to attend Rockland BOCES, where she earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Catherine dedicated her career to caring for others, working as a nurse at Nyack Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital.

She is survived by her husband Charles of 63 years, her sons, Charles Rose Jr. (Jenn) and Matthew Rose (Michele); her sister, Lucretia; her grandchildren, Erica (Nico), Lexi, Matthew (Kam), Victoria, and Emilia; her great-grandchildren, Levi, Liam, and Austen; as well as her sister-in-law, Cindi Myers, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth (née Stalter) and Harold Albert Myers, and her brother, Harold T. Myers.

A visitation will be held from 4-8pm Thursday, April 23, 2026 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. A Funeral Service will be held 11am Friday, April 24, 2026 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923 with burial to follow at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spring Valley.
