Dylan Joseph Alexius Jones

27 years of age, from Tomkins Cove, NY, passed away on June 9, 2026. Born on June 6, 1999, in Nyack, NY. He is survived by his parents, Peter and Lisa Jones, sister Deanna, Goddaughter Avery, and brother Nicolas (Brianna). In addition, grandparents Nino and Josephine Zitoli, Uncle Len Zitoli, Aunt Rosemarie and Uncle Jay Tomczak, cousins Luke and Gianna, and many more aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by Uncle David Jones (Godfather) and paternal grandparents Robert and Cynthia Jones.

He graduated from North Rockland High School and Rockland Community College, earning a degree in Automotive Technology.

He worked as a Ride Technician at Universal Studios, Orlando, FL at Velocicoaster. Outside of work, Dylan enjoyed music, motorcycle riding, gaming, car shows and spontaneous cruising with his friends with no destination in mind. He will be missed by the many newfound friends he made in Orlando, especially his best friend Dai (Daimon Cobb).

Dylan will be remembered for his love of family, especially his mother and niece Avery; his humor, sports, Japanese culture, Disney (Star Wars and Avatar), Universal Studios, his love of Christmas, exotic vehicles, his cat Nala and kitten Roe, and the finer things in life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Dylan’s memory.

Services

Visitation will be held on Sunday 6/21/26 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY.

Followed by a Private Cremation.
