Estelle L. Mack

Estelle L. Mack, was a longtime resident of Haverstraw NY who recently resided and passed away in Cape Coral FL on July 6, 2026. She was 99 years old. Estelle was born in Manhattan NY on February 27, 1927.

She was employed in the curtain and textile industry by Louis Hornick & Company, a school crossing guard in Haverstraw, and in Food Services within the North Rockland School District. Estelle was a Life Member of the Haverstraw Elks Ladies Club and past President of the Haverstraw Little League Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Estelle is survived by her son, Alex Mack (Tracey) of Cornwall, NY, her daughter Pauline Pollara (John) of Cape Coral, FL, and her grandson, Alex Mack of Cornwall, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Alex Mack, in 2000 and her son, Joseph, in 2025. 

Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16 from 4-8pm at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N Central Highway, Garnerville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 17 at 10am at St. Peter’s Church , Haverstraw, followed by Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
