Jack Weiss

Jack Weiss passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026, after overcoming his long battle with heart disease, he was 75 years old.

Jack was born in the Bronx, N.Y. on July 4, 1951, to Beatrice and Joseph Weiss. He worked in the restaurant business, as a chef at times and a manager in various restaurants, he was most proud of his being a general manager of Legal Seafoods in Nyack, New York. Jack married Patty, on October 12, 1996. They moved to Rockland County and settled in Stony Point where they raised one child, Ethan who he most cherished. Jack loved his New York sports teams (Yankees, Knicks and Jets). Jack was a great cook and liked having family and friends over his house for his famous salsa and guacamole, it was the best! Jack will be greatly missed by all especially for his sense of humor. He was predeceased by his parents Beatrice and Joseph, his sister Ellen, brother-in-law Harold, and his cherished long-time friends.

Jack is survived by his devoted wife Patty and son Ethan. He is also survived by his sister Arlene, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and Godson Shane. Family will receive friends on Monday August 31, 2026, from 3-7pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville location. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
