In Loving Memory of Nicole Marie Moore

Nicole Marie Moore, of Stony Point, New York, passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 29.

Born on May 15, 1997, at Nyack Hospital, Nicole was the beloved daughter of Kenneth and Laura Vanderoef and the cherished sister of Lance Corporal Kenny Vanderoef II. She grew up in Rockland County, graduating from North Rockland High School before earning her bachelor's degree in English from Binghamton University.

On November 10, 2023, Nicole married the love of her life, her "always and forever," Daniel Moore. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and dreams for the future. Their greatest joy was welcoming their son, Jace Daniel Moore, whom Nicole lovingly called her sunshine. Being Jace's mother was the role she treasured most, and the love she had for him was endless and unconditional.

Nicole worked as an Office Administrator for Dependable Exterminating and J.P. McHale, where she was admired for her kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Nicole had an extraordinary gift for creativity. She had a true passion for interior design and loved crafting beautiful, meaningful pieces by hand. Whether she was designing décor, creating personalized gifts, or making her own wedding invitations and centerpieces, Nicole poured her heart into everything she created. She especially enjoyed bringing her ideas to life using her Cricut, transforming simple materials into treasured keepsakes for family and friends.

More than anything, Nicole will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family. She brought warmth, beauty, and joy into the lives of everyone who knew her. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will remain forever.

Nicole was predeceased by her beloved Grandma Ann Russo and Nana Victoria Vanderoef. She shared an especially close bond with both of them. Grandma Ann was not only Nicole's grandmother but also one of her closest friends. Before Grandma Ann's passing, the two were inseparable, sharing an unbreakable bond filled with unconditional love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Nana Victoria also held a special place in Nicole's heart, and the love they shared remained a constant source of comfort, guidance, and strength throughout Nicole's life.

Nicole is survived by her devoted husband, Daniel Moore; her cherished son, Jace Daniel Moore; her loving parents, Kenneth and Laura Vanderoef; her beloved brother, Corporal Kenny Vanderoef II; her grandfathers, Frank Russo and William Vanderoef III; her beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family; and many dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and love.

Nicole's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, Nicole's family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in her honor to The Myositis Association (TMA). Nicole courageously battled myositis, and donations made in her memory will help advance research, support patients and their families, and bring hope for improved treatments and, one day, a cure.
