Janice R. Alexander

Janice R. Alexander, 78, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on June 20, 2026. Born and raised in Charlotte, Janice attended North Mecklenburg High School.

Janice Alexander will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and beautiful smile that could brighten a room. Her kindness and genuine care for others were among the qualities that made her so special to those who knew and loved her.

Janice worked as a paralegal, approaching her professional life with dedication and commitment. Beyond her career, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished time at the beach, enjoyed fishing, finding happiness in the peace and quiet of the outdoors.

Though Janice will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. The kindness she shared, the warm smile she offered so freely, and the memories created throughout her life will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Janice was predeceased by her husband, Ray Alexander. She was survived by her step-children, Heather (Jeff) Laney and Isaac (Christine) Alexander, eight step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Diane Alexander.
