Noreen Ann Farkas

Noreen Ann Farkas, 63, of Charlotte, NC and originally from Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on September 27, 2025, surrounded by love. 

Noreen’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion as a mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved sons, Travis Farkas, Christopher Mickno (Whitney Mickno), and Nicholas Mickno. She was the proud grandmother of Peyton Mickno (mother Brittany McLeod), Jackson Mickno, Parker Mickno, Landon McLaren, and Ella Mickno, who brought endless light to her life. She was also survived by her mother, Irene Shrader; brother, Michael Farkas; sister, Darlene Klemovitch; and brother, Tommy Shrader. Additionally, survived by her life partner, Mike Schafer and former husband Chris Mickno. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Shrader; sister, Theresa Farkas and brother, David Farkas. 

Noreen’s warmth, humor, and caring spirit touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.

Services to honor and celebrate Noreen’s life will be held at Tribute & Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd, Charlotte, NC on Tuesday, September 30th from 12:00PM-2:00PM
