Okey Ray Hyer

Okey Ray Hyer, 85, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 2, 2026. Born November 4, 1940, in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Virgil and Thelma Lantz Hyer. Ray was known for his hard work ethics.

Ray is survived by his daughters: Cindy Allen (Tim) and Susie Mauney (Terry); grandson, Ron Scully (Brittany); sister, Kay Sirk; his loving Maltese; and many more loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ann Hyer.

A celebration of Ray's life will be held at a later date.
