Patsy (Pat) W. Turner

A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Pat was the daughter of the late Vivian Weldy and Oscar V. Weldy. Pat moved to Charlotte with her husband, the late Robert L. Turner, in the early 1950's to work in accounting. Subsequent to the birth of her son Mike, Pat became a full-time homemaker.

Pat is survived by her devoted son, Dr. Mike, of Lake Wylie, SC. Additional family members include a niece, Pamela W. Kellogg, and a nephew, Stephen E. Weldy of MS. Pat considers "The Jackson Family' - Libby, Steve, Ashley, Wesley, and Kathryn to be lifelong extended family.

Pat loved God, lover her family, loved her Church, cared immensely about others, and was a longtime member of Hickory Grove Church and the 'Love' Sunday School class. We are at peace knowing she rests with Jesus in Heaven along with those who proceeded her.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2026 from 12pm to 12:45pm with a service to celebrate her life follwoing at 12:45pm at Tribute & Tallent Funeral Service, 1937 N Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28205. Pat will be laid to rest following the service at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 1520 W Sugar Creek Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28262.

In lieu of flowers, Pat requests all memorials be sent to Hickory Grove Baptist Church.
