Bessie Mae Davis

Bessie Mae Davis, 81, of Stony Point, North Carolina, formerly of Wire Branch Road, Clinton, North Carolina, peacefully passed away Friday, October 30, 2026. Born October 17, 1945, in Roseboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Zelta Helms Faircloth. Bessie was a homemaker and known for her hard work ethics. She enjoyed spending time with her adoring grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

Bessie is survived by her children: Edward Glenn Davis, Brenda Gale Royal, Gary Allen Davis and Delta Sue Davis; grandchildren: Carolyn, Bryan, Aaron Joseph, Tiffany, Johnathan, Stephanie and Candice; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister, Esther Davis; and many more loving friends.

In addition to her parents, Bessie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Davis; the late Lloyd Davis; brother, Marvin Faircloth; and sisters, Kathleen Faircloth and Louise Carlise.
