Dean Cook of Lucerne, California passed away in San Francisco, California on January 13, 2024.

Dean was born in French Camp, California on October 8, 1957 to Clifford Marlin Cook and Exie Eliane Cook nee Luttrell. He attended Livermore High School. He worked as  a handyman most recently, was a former truck driver and farmer.

Dean enjoyed fishing, barbecues with family, making people laugh, collecting, and working on and fixing things. He would always help a friend or neighbor. Dean could find a way to make you laugh, no matter the situation. He was a loyal family man, who would give someone the shirt off his back.

Dean is survived by his wife Linda Cook of Lucerne, sister Marla Newland and husband Jack of Clearlake, brother Jack Cook of Clearlake, brother Gregory Cook of Clearlake, niece Holley Wright of Tracy, niece Jamie Newland of Clearlake, nephew Steven Raridon of Manteca, niece Melissa Raridon-Puente and husband Polo of Clearlake, great nieces Caylin and Camryn Wright of Tracy, great nephew Mateo Puente-Raridon of Clearlake, and great nephew Kason Raridon of Manteca.  He was predeceased by his father Clifford Cook, mother Elaine Cook and sister Lana Raridon
