On Tuesday, January 9, at 9:17 a.m., our brother, and dad's namesake,
Jose Alfredo Torres, Jr.
, passed away, unexpectedly. Our kind, gentle, and funny big brother was only 42-years-old when his Lord and Savior welcomed him Home.
Unfortunately, our brother did not have any type of coverage for these circumstances.
At the time of his passing, he was residing in Orange County, California, which is far from his hometown of Littlefield, Texas. It has been decided to cremate and transfer our sweet brother back home. However, doing so comes at an expense none of my family was ready for, or able to, tackle.

, collectively decided to put our pride aside to ask our village, and giving hearts, for donations towards our brother's final arrangements. At this time, we do not have a date set for a funeral or memorial since we are still going through the process of bringing him home.
At this time, we are aware of the following costs:
Death Certificate
Cremation
Transportation of ashes
Funeral/Memorial
Burial
Leftover funds, if any, after payment for arrangements will go to our brother's children.
