Lucinda Mae Formyduval, born September 3, 1951, in Ohio, died on October 7, 2026, at home in San Francisco, California.

Lucinda was a 1968 graduate of Wellston High School and later attended Ohio University in Athens. She built a career as an administrative assistant with Sutter Health, where she worked for approximately 16 years. During her years there, she made many friends and found real enjoyment in her work. She retired in 2017 after a meaningful career, grateful for the wonderful people she worked alongside and cherished through the years.

Lucinda was a very intelligent, creative, and independent woman whose life was shaped by wide-ranging interests and a distinctive spirit. She loved art, literature, music, and nature, and she embraced the avant-garde with a bold personality and fashion style all her own. She loved poetry, enjoyed creating art, and took pleasure in her extensive bead collection. Many happy hours were spent with a good book, listening to music, or taking nature walks.

She was also an enthusiastic home cook who thoroughly enjoyed learning about and preparing different types of cuisine. Whether reading, exploring new flavors in the kitchen, or simply enjoying the beauty of the natural world, Lucinda brought curiosity and originality to the life she created for herself. A devoted cat lover, she shared her home and heart with many cats over the years. Most recently, she enjoyed the constant companionship of her beloved cat, DP, Danny Pink, who was always by her side.
