The Lopez family is sad to announce that Michael Lopez, 48 years old, died peacefully on December 6, 2022, at his home in Hayward, California, after a long battle with addiction, a disease he struggled with for many years. He is survived by wife, Evelyn Aldarondo-Lopez, and his parents Rudy Lopez and Maureen Lopez.
While he was unable to overcome that battle, he was a fierce and persistent fighter who lived every day of his life as fully as he could. He loved to laugh and play hard and will be missed by all whose lived he touched.
A memorial service will be held in private with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Alcoholics Anonymous.
