Born on April 3, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, to Norvel Joe Carter Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Stredrick, Norvel was a bright and inquisitive child who demonstrated a strong love for learning and creativity from an early age. He graduated from Central High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly).
Career & Contributions
Norvel built a fulfilling career and was most notably known for his role as Communications Manager at Cal Poly San Bernardino. Respected by colleagues and admired for his professionalism, thoughtful insight, and kind demeanor, he left a lasting impression on all who worked with him.
