Arlene Kisor

Our beloved Arlene Kisor, passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Oakland, CA, on March 3, 1933, to Chester Arthur Feight and Irene Feight.

After graduating from Tech High School in Oakland, CA, she rode the Key System back and forth to San Francisco, where she worked for Met. Life Insurance Co.

It was there that she met the love of her life, Navy sailor Stanley L. Kisor. The two were married six weeks later on Treasure Island.

Together, Arlene and Stan built a beautiful life, raising five children, and sharing 63 wonderful years of marriage before Stan's passing in 2016.

Arlene had an incredible knowledge of the Bay Area, Depression era, and World War II history. She could tell stories for hours, entertaining her family.

She enjoyed many creative hobbies throughout her life, loved traveling, reading, and watching Hallmark Channel.

Arlene will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her five children, Nancy Gamble, Stanley Kisor (Carol), Peggy Bowen (Mike), John Kisor (Chris), and Shirley Person (Kevin); 13 grandchildren; their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends.

A service will be held at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Fremont, CA, on Saturday, May 30, 2026.
