Inge Stout (Stahl) passed away peacefully at 87, on March 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Yuba City, CA.

Inge was born on June 15, 1938, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, to her parents, Karl and Elisabeta Stahl.

Inge and her family survived World War II with Inge being just seven years old when the war ended.

Eventually Inge met and married Jimmie Stout at Stemback AFB, Germany on August 29, 1958, where Jimmie was stationed.

Over the years, Inge and Jimmie had three children and were stationed all over the country.

Inge was first and foremost a homemaker but was also a Cashier's Cage Supervisor for the Army Air Force Exchange Service which she retired from in 1992.

Inge enjoyed reading, taking walks, exercising, traveling and spending time with her family.

Most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. Inge was known for some of her famous German dishes and her love of playing German dice games.

Inge is survived by her three children, Mike Stout (Danielle), James Stout (Pat), and Jennice Cross (Chris); seven grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Zachery, Austin, Elizabeth, Michelle, and Adam; along with four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 50 years, Jimmie; mother, Elisabeta; father, Karl; brother, Heinz Stahl; and sisters, Ursula Bump and Ilse Lindskog.

Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10 AM, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City, CA.
