Joseph Robert Malotte

Joseph "Joe" Robert Malotte, 64, of Marysville, CA, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2025.

Born on December 10, 1960, in Burbank, CA, Joe lived a life driven by independence, adventure, and a deep love for his family and all things water. He will be remembered as a father, brother, son, nephew, friend, and a very special uncle.

Joe began his working years at the family business, Coffee Express, and later built a career in HVAC, all while nurturing his lifelong love of the water, he always had a boat!

Whether it was the thrill of speedboats, the challenge of waterskiing, entertaining family and friends on the boat, or the calm of casting a line on a quiet morning, Joe felt most at home near water. His bald head gleaming in the sun, a smile, and memories always ready to be made.

Joe was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Diane Jolene Rauscher and Ronald Dean Malotte; as well as sisters, Cheri and Suzanne.

He is survived by his only child, Ryan Malotte; sisters, Laura, Peggy Dawn, and Deanne; brothers, Trip, Trey, and John; uncles; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will always remember him for his conspiracy theories, inappropriate sense of humor, and genuine love for being around his family.

We hope his legacy as Uncle Joe lives on in the hearts and memories of so many people who were lucky enough to know him.

Services to honor Joe Malotte will be held at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St, Yuba City, CA 95991, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 2 PM.
