Karen "Sue" Alexander

April 17, 1952 to November 12, 2025

Karen "Sue" Alexander (nee Roberts), beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025.

Sue was born on April 17, 1952, in Oroville, CA, to Virginia Matthews and John Roberts and grew up in the Yuba-Sutter area, where she spent nearly all her life.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gary Brown; and her husband, of 40 years, Michael Alexander.

She is survived by her children, Jenna Shire (Roberts), Tammy Leach, Edward Roberts, Charles Mikesell, Audra Murphy (Mikesell), and Angel Hill (Alexander); brothers, Oran Roberts and John Roberts; fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren, all of whom were the greatest joys of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to FieldHaven Feline Center, 2754 Ironwood Lane, Lincoln, CA 95648, an organization close to Sue's family and heart.

Services will be held at 10 AM, on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Ullrey's Memorial Chapel 817 Almond Street, Yuba City, CA 95991.
