Michael Dockrey

We are deeply saddened to share that Michael "Mike" Dockrey passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was at home, peaceful and surrounded by his loved ones.

Mike was a world traveller, adventurer, and storyteller who lived a remarkable life filled with curiosity, humour, and resilience.

His career in international relief and development took him to South Sudan, Kenya, Haiti, Ghana, Iraq, and beyond, where he worked tirelessly to improve lives and empower communities.

He is survived by his daughters, Nadia, Summer, Alea (James); son-in-law, James; grandchildren, Kadyn, Kaylee, and little Liam; brother, Dean (Gayle); sister-in-law, Gayle; niece, Haley (Pheonix); nephew-in-law, Phoenix; nephew, Adam (Hanna); and his many, many life-long friends.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Mike Dockrey, a restless adventurer who dedicated his life to seeing the world and making it better, on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1 PM to 3 PM at Hillcrest Catering, 210 Julie Drive, Yuba City, CA 95991.
