Raymond Braithwaite Jenkins Jr., 75, peacefully passed away on October 9, 2025, in Yuba City, CA.
Born on April 26, 1950, Raymond was a lifelong resident of the area, having attended Live Oak High School and later Yuba Community College.
Raymond dedicated service to the National Guards Reserves, a commitment reflecting his deep sense of duty and patriotism.
Professionally, he was a respected Plant Operator at US Filter in Roseville, CA, where his expertise and diligence were valued by his colleagues and superiors.
Known for his deep love for his family, Raymond was a proud father and grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
He is survived by his siblings John, Holly, and Larry Jenkins; daughters, Heather Welch and Cathy Jenkins; his adopted daughter, Frannie Jenkins; and two grandchildren, Prince Smith and Zakai Thornton; Cathy's pets, especially her dog, Kevin, were also considered part of Raymond's extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Braithwaite Jenkins Sr. and Myola Leah Jenkins; siblings, Mitchell and April Jenkins; and daughter, Ashley Jenkins.
As an avid outdoorsman, Raymond enjoyed fishing and was often found by the water with a fishing rod in hand.
His hobbies also included working on mechanics, showcasing his knack for understanding and improving cars.
Raymond's life was marked by his commitment to his family, his service to his country, and his passion for the outdoors.
He will be remembered for his dedication and love, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and enduring family bonds.
Funeral Services will be held on October 23, 2025, at 3 PM, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel 817 Almond St, Yuba City, CA.
