Ruperto Manalansan, of Yuba City, CA, passed away on September 27, 2025. He was born on October 30, 1940, at Nuevaecija, Philippines.

Ruperto was an M.S.C.S for the U.S. Navy, and was a resident of the Yuba-Sutter area since 1989.

He is survived by his wife, Bibiana Manalansan; sister, Remy Conley, brothers, Rico, and Ramon Manalsansan; nephew, Mike Gallagher; nieces, Belinda, Thelma; other nieces and nephews in the Philippines and Canada; daughter and her husband, Zaydie and Marvin Manalansan Robinson; and four grandchildren.

Ruperto is preceded in death by his parents, Benigno , and Carmen Manalansan; siblings, Leah Gallagher, and Rosa Vergara; and Mark Manalansan.

Ruperto was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. He was a retired U.S. Navy veteran.

Ruperto was award several medals, including the Navy Achievement, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Expedition, Humanitarian Service, six Good Conducts, National Defense Service, Vietnam Service with two stars, Vietnam Campaign, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon with two stars, and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 20205, from 4 PM to 7 PM, a Rosary at 6 PM, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel.

A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Isidore Catholic Church, with a committal service at Sutter Cemetery.
