Stacy Baker (Malas), 81 of Marysville, CA, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Marysville Post Acute Care, with family by her side.

She was born in San Mateo, CA, on September 21, 1944, to Nick and Fotula Malas, Richmond, CA.

Stacy was a lifelong resident of Yuba-Sutter, she went to school at Mary Covillaud, Anna McKenney, Marysville High School and Yuba College.

In her adult life, she worked at Rideout for 34 years. She started as a secretary for Mr. Fred Moore worked her way up to become the hospital's HR Personnel Director.

In her free time, she loved to vacation in Hawaii or Greece, make costume jewelry, crafting unique items to sell at Fabulous Finds, trips to thrift stores to find treasures, and visiting the monthly Sac Antique Faire.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher and Anthony Abruscato of Marysville, CA, and Brian Baker of Sacramento, CA; sister, Despina Schrader (Donald) of Marysville, CA; aunt, Dianna Louizos; six cousins, Valerie Sutton, Dennis Long, Edison Long, Anna (Nina) Louizos, Desi Woltman (Cyld), Niko Louizos; two nieces, Tammy Bringgold (BJ) and Penny Rogers (Gary); five nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 40 years, Ray Baker; mother, Fotula Malas; and father, Nick Malas.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of the Marysville Post Acute Care Center for their unwavering commitment to their patients, and Freedom Health for guiding us through her final days.

Father Dino of St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, will be officiating, a viewing (Trisagion) will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 6 PM.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, funeral services will be held at 10 AM. Both will be conducted at Ullrey Funeral Chapel of Yuba City, CA. Burial will be held at Sierra View Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Harvest Room, Yuba City, CA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
