Seth Cockrell

Seth Cockrell of Laughlin, Nevada passed away in his home on March 9, 2026, at age 80.

Born in April of 1945 as the youngest of 3 brothers to parents Robert A and Zylpha Cockrell, Seth grew up in the East Bay Area of California.

After graduating from El Cerrito High School, Seth was drafted into the US Army in September 1965 and served as a firefighter at Fort Hunter Liggett.

After concluding his service to the Army, Seth became a firefighter with the city of Mountain View fire department in 1969. Shortly thereafter, Seth married his wife Robbi in April of 1970; a marriage that had lasted 52 years when she passed in 2022.

In 1978, Seth and Robbi moved to Knightsen, California where Seth began working for Western Waterways as a manager of several marinas in the Sacramento-San Joaquin river delta.

As avid recreational vehicle enthusiasts, Seth and Robbi started their retirement RV adventures with the purchase of their first motorhome in June of 2004. By 2012 they had transitioned their RV adventures away from Knightsen and began spending equal time between Laughlin, Nevada and Stone Ridge Motor Coach Village in Blanchard, Idaho.

Seth will be remembered fondly for his devotion to Robbi, being quick with a joke, his positive attitude, persistent generosity, and constantly lifting the spirits of those around him. He will be missed.
