Anita Marie Norris

Anita Marie Norris, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home in Berthoud on July 27, 2026.

Anita was born to Wayne and Wilma (Jones) Wilson on January 31, 1947 in Lewiston, Idaho, the first of three children. Anita attended Lewiston High School, graduating in 1965. Shortly after high school she moved to Denver, Colorado and there she began dating a neighbor in the same apartment complex. She married Charles L. Norris in Lewiston on May 4, 1967 and they remained married until his death in 2013.

Anita worked at the Longmont Post Office for many years and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer. She loved horses and gave riding lessons at the homestead she cherished near Berthoud. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling, playing cards and was a fiercely competitive Rummikub player.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Todd) Norris Kutz, Charles W. Norris and Christopher (Denise) Norris, four grandchildren Marie Kutz, Camdon (Brynn) Kutz, Tori (Britt) Kutz and Caitlin Norris, five great grandchildren, Jayce, Wyatt, Malakai, Elliot and Owen as well as brothers Wayne (Patti) Wilson and Rick (Marlys) Wilson.

The Family would like to extend a special thank you to those who provided Anita with care and rides to her treatments and Pathways hospice. Memorial contributions can be made to Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center or Meals on Wheels. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for a later date.
