With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved Melissa Lange, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 35.

Melissa was so much more than a daughter, sister, mother, and friend—she was a light in the lives of those who knew her. She had a goofy sense of humor, a beautiful smile, and an incredible ability to make people laugh. She loved deeply, cared fiercely, and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mother. Her beloved sons, Devon and Michael Jr., were the center of her world, and she loved them with all her heart. Her love for them will continue to guide and surround them always.

After a courageous journey through illness, Melissa is now at peace, free from pain, and resting in the loving arms of God. While her absence leaves an unimaginable void, her laughter, kindness, strength, and unconditional love will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

Melissa was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Brenda Lange, and her brother, Andrew Lange.

She is survived by her beloved sons, Devon and Michael Jr.; twin sister, Amanda (Nicholas) Knipp; sisters, Anna (Shane) Paul and Trinity (Gabe); Brother, Andrew Paul; father, Steven Marr; nieces, Isabelle Knipp and Saylor Paul; nephews, Alec, Zaben Paul, and Jackson Knipp and Ambrose; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Melissa's love will never leave us. She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her infectious laughter, her unwavering love for her family, and the countless lives she touched.
