Paul Thomas Reister

August 8, 1982 — June 6, 2026

Paul Thomas Reister, born on August 8, 1982 in Denver, Colorado, left this world far too soon at the age of 43 on June 6, 2026. He was the cherished son of his father, Randy Reister (Nancy Farmer), and Reggie Williams, Paul’s stepdad, who also survives him. Paul was a beacon of light and love to his family, including his Grandmothers Patricia Vigil and Theresa Romero, sisters, Jackie Mikeska (Allen), Lynette Lucero, and Monique Gonzales. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed, but the memories they created together will continue to bring them comfort. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Deborah Williams, and his grandfather, Ray Romero. Their love for Paul was a testament to the kind of man he was, and the incredible person he had become.

Paul, affectionately known to many as Pablo, was a kind and gentle soul who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. His genuine curiosity for life and love for the outdoors, particularly the mountains, were infectious and will be missed by all who knew him. He graduated from Alameda High School in 2000, showing diligence and commitment that he carried throughout his life.

Beyond his immediate family, Paul’s absence will also be felt by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Each one of them held a unique and special place in his heart, as he did theirs.

In lieu of a formal service, a celebration of Paul’s life will take place on his birthday, August 8, 2026, in the form of a BBQ. This event is set to honor Paul’s love for family gatherings, good food, and the joy of being surrounded by those he loved. Details will follow in due course.

Paul’s life was a testament to the beauty of love, the joy of exploration, and the importance of family. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his kind and gentle soul find peace and comfort in the arms of those who preceded him in death. It is not a goodbye, but a see you later. Rest in peace, Paul Thomas Reister, you will never be forgotten.
