Jean Reagan

Sep 20, 1936 — Aug 30, 2026

Jean Reagan passed from this life to the next, on August 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Born September 20, 1936 in Easton Pennsylvania, she graduated from Easton High School, in 1954. On August 27, 1955, she married the love of her life, Richard Reagan. Together, they shared a remarkable 71 years of marriage, celebrating their 71st anniversary just days before her passing. In life she was a dedicated homemaker, a loving mother and spouse. Jean and Richard spent several years on the East Coast but ultimately moved west and settled in Larimer County, where she lived out the majority of her days. She spent 27 years as a Unit Coordinator at Poudre Valley Hospital, from 1975 to 2002, where she touched many patient and staff lives.

Her hobbies included: photography, bird watching, gardening, anything involving horses, and solving puzzles. She was extremely organized and used that trait to compile a family genealogy. Her love of horses once led her to participate in an equine, 30 mile, endurance race. She came in first place with a quarter horse mare, while most competitors rode Arabian horses.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Frederick Lawton and Frances (Yokiatus) Lawton.

She is survived by her Husband, Richard Reagan; Sister, Mary (Lawton) Ealer; Son, John (and Lesa) Reagan; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

By Jean's wishes, cremation will take place and no public services shall be held. The family will honor her life privately.
