Carole Marie Miller

Carole Marie (Makuh) Miller was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Monday, October 19, 2026. Born to Polish parents on May 18, 1933, Carole was raised in Chicago, Illinois, the loving daughter of Stanley and Natalie Makuh and sister to Celeste, Camille, Gerald, and James. She met her devoted husband of 73 years, Donald Miller, while in Illinois, and they moved to Loveland, Colorado in 1972. While raising her four children, Carole instilled in them a sense of self-worth and independence. Living a faith-filled life was important to her. She was a treasured parishioner at St. John’s Catholic Church and dedicated her life to helping others. When she wasn’t volunteering, Carole also enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Carole is survived by her husband Donald and four children: Kevin (Susan) Miller of Loveland, Gary (Deanna) Miller of Lakewood, Colorado, Pamela (Greg) Kirby of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Rozanne Miller of Fort Collins, Colorado. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. A viewing and recitation of the rosary will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 10 am at St John’s Catholic Church, followed by a Mass at 11 and a luncheon after Mass. Internment will be on October 28, 2026 at Resthaven Memory Gardens at 11
